Ranthambhore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned national park in Northern India. The park is located in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, which is about 130 km from Jaipur. Being considered as one of the famous and former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, today the Ranthambhore National Park terrain is major wildlife tourist attraction spot that has pulled the attention of many wildlife photographers and lovers in this destination. The park is majorly famous for its tigers and is one of the best locations in India to see the majestic predators in its natural habitat.
Ranthambhore is also counted as the famous heritage site because of the pictorial ruins that dot the wildlife park. Certainly, a visit to Ranthambhore National Park is a treat for every wildlife and nature lover. The time spend on watching tigers roaming around, verdant greenery, a gamut of other species of chirpy birds and animals is priceless and worth enough to be explored at least once in a life.
Day 01: Arrival Sawai Madhopur
Arrival at Sawai Madhopur railway station thereafter you will be assisted with a transfer to the hotel, check in at the hotel and stay two nights in the Resort.
Day 02: Ranthambhore National Park Safari
Wake up early in the morning and prepare for the first game drive at 6:00 – 9:30 am kindly check with the reception if there is any change in time. Enjoy the national park travelling in canter with an estimated area of 400sq Km of this amazing reserve. The park is dotted with steep rocky hills and the dominating architecture of Ranthambhore Fort (built in the 10th century), adds to its landscape. The rugged park terrain alternates between dry deciduous forest, open grassy meadow, dotted by several lakes and rivers that are only made passable by rough roads built and maintained by the Forest Service. The tiger is not the only attraction at Ranthambhore although it is the one park resident that people come to see. A variety of birds including Owlets, the ubiquitous Langur (monkey), Leopard, Caracal, Hyena, Jackal, Jungle Cat, marsh Crocodiles, Wild Boar, Bears and various species of Deer are the other attractions. Later return to the hotel approximately around 9:30 am and have your breakfast. Later in the afternoon we have another game drive. Stay overnight at the tiger reserve. (B,L,D)
Day 03: Departure Sawai Madhopur
After breakfast your tour finishes with transfer to the Sawai Madhopur railway station. (B)
