Some of our popular National Parks are Kaziranga located in the Golaghat and Nagaon district of Assam, home to the one-horned rhino, this most notable wildlife sanctuary has been declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the year 1985. Ranthambore National Park and Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan are one of the world’s best-known wilderness areas.
